Client:
SABIC
Creative Agency:
The Studio, Hill and Knowlton (H+K)
Summary:
SABIC – a chemical manufacturing company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia are at the forefront of innovation and technology for sustainable building. SABIC appointed H+K to develop a growth initiative, and to create a focal point that would generate opportunities to build the future of the region. This was done through showcasing best practices in sustainable building and was applied to a visitor experience called ‘Home of Innovation’.
Originally opening in May 2016, the interior fit-out, showcases and displays inside the Home of Innovation were re-developed in early 2020. Development continues and therefore the images shown represent both phases of the project.
Concept:
SABIC brand is predominantly bright white with clusters of blue and orange representing molecules from the science of innovation. These circular clusters are both static and motion graphics which overlay the content. For that reason, interiors receive clean white surfaces to allow the content and physical objects on display to stand out and be the focal point within the space.
Content is at the core and heart of the project and for that reason 3-dimensional and spatial design is carefully considered to reflect that.
