Summary:
adidas Press Preview Fall Winter (F/W) 2019 – a confidential and private event for global press to view new collections across adidas originals, adidas running, Parley, Futurecraft and limited edition products from present cultural campaigns.
adidas Press Preview took place across 4 cities, London, Paris, New York and Tokyo. A toolkit of set design pieces for each location were produced for adidas and their production partners to produce at each location.
All design visuals produced using Cinema 4D and Adobe Photoshop
Concept:
Raw. Real. Fast. adidas celebrates its craft, innovation, heritage and authenticity through these three lenses, within 4 areas.
Celebration of the City: An oversized crate lands as an introductory installation displaying an archive collection of photography from adidas’ iconic moments of the years. Raw in application – fly posters and polaroids showing real moments in an instant.
Futurecraft: A circular enclosed space with a glimpse of the worlds first full recycled running shoe, Loop. Circular in space, communicating the circular process of re-cycling and re-purposing. Raw, real footage displays the process, from landfill to test labs to factory.
Parley: A pop up protest. A voice for the oceans. Placards and products integrate to show unity.
Boost: Running on clouds – a metaphorical visual for Boost technology in Boost running shoes. The new collection hero in a display above clouds within the display. The icons of Boost history are frozen in motion on a running track with lightning bolts, portraying their time in history, running up to the present day.
