Concept:

Taking place in Strawberry Fields film studios in Sweden, the set design followed a contemporary, natural and informal approach. 

A simple layout comprised of two areas, a main screen and a pilot second stage. These areas were brought to life by presenters walking between the two spaces interacting with content on screen.

Working closely with film director Marcus Viner, a Scandinavian inspired slatted white backdrop sat behind a 32:9 panoramic, cinematic screen positioned to always be in shot connecting and uniting the two spaces. 

The contemporary white slatted backdrop became illuminated by syncronished RGB lighting aligning with the content of the show. 

LED totems displayed closeup moving footage of earth’s natural elements. This soft movement of these displays were positioned behind presenters when close up shots were taken.

Greenery and foliage were positioned throughout the spaces at different depths for cameras as they moved around the spaces.

This constant presence of nature and its elements in both digital and physical form consistently puts earth into the frame, providing visual context for the purpose of the show. 

Content naturally flowed between the two areas. The versatility worked for all types of content and conversations – presenting a succinct and cohesive show.
