Summary: 

Facebook 1EMEA – An annual internal conference and team day, for 2500 employees across Facebook offices from  the EMEA region. The aim of the event is to reflect on the year, celebrating achievements and become excited for the future of the business. 

Key speakers included: Nicola Mendelshon -Vice President of Facebook EMEA. Ziad Traboulsi – Partner Engineering Lead. Richard Allan – Vice President of Public Policy. Fiona Mullan – Vice President of HR. Cormac Keenan – Director of Market and Community Operations.

Concept:

The theme and event brand identity, 1EMEA in colour was developed as event brand identity brought to life the rich diversity of the Facebook workforce and the wealth of creativity across the organisation. 

Dublin – the chosen location for this years event was the driving source of inspiration for stage set design. There is a tradition in Ireland of brightly coloured doors from the Victorian era. Irish civilians were once ordered to paint their front doors black in honour of Queen Victoria passing. Instead an act of rebellion occurred,  painting al the doors in bright colours.

Each door of the stage set became a coloured door, and a style of door from a key country within the EMEA region. Surrounded by LED screen with moving content, guest speakers appeared through the doors to enter the stage.

This project ran for a duration of 4 months on a part time basis.
